Note: Hug Your Kids is not a 501c3 non-profit. We started to become one but we found the administrative and financial requirements were too onerous for one day a year. 

Instead, we look for Partnerships, looking for win:win relationships that result in new customers, happier employees - or both! We like to up front about our tax status.

Our corporate partners sponsor us in two ways:

1. Donate in-kind, such as billboards and signage

2. Pay us a sponsorship fee as part of their Marketing or Employee Benefits budgets

Target Market

Global Hug Your Kids Day's target market is professional working parents - educated men and women, ages 25-55 - with children ages 19 and under. This includes engineers, accountants, managers, business owners, salespeople, business executives, administrators, lawyers, doctors, and other professionals - and employers of these professionals. 

They buy time-saving, productivity-increasing, quality products and services for the parents, their children or the family itself. This could be cars, travel, insurance, financial products, onsumer products, professional clothing, office supplies, child care, summer camps, restaurants, healthcare, technology, cell phones - and much more.

 

In the U.S., this target market was 40 million men and women in 2010. They have money to spend and have a shortage of time to serve the demands of their careers and their families. Of course, we reach a much broader audience - grandparents, parents of young adults, and even people without kids but who have a heart for kids and their parents.

When you add in all the working parents around the world outside of the U.S., you can see that this is a very big, passionate target market with money to spend to save time, improve their financial situation, decrease stress, spend time with their loved ones, increase their quality of life and preserve their health.
