In 1998, her 8 1/2-year old son, Mark, died suddenly from brain cancer. She understands what's really at stake. She delivers her message with original stories, insight and humor. Her business and life credentials are unique among her fellow professional speakers. Her talks increase employee engagement and are popular with those in human resource management. Come listen, laugh and learn.

Beyond Time Management, Stress Management, and Work-Life Balance

Ms. Nichols speaks on workplace stress - and offers solutions, strategies, and funny stories. She talks about the causes - and why time management, stress management and work-life balance are not the solutions. Instead, she offers more than simple time management tips, tools or techniques. Instead, she talks about The BIG Picture Living - and how to live it.

She can give a keynote or closing talk to a general session, lead a workshop, or speak after a meal. Fifty percent of her raving fans are men, so her message connects strongly to both men and women.

Stress levels are rising at businesses everywhere. Employees, managers, and business owners are working hard to “do more with less” at work and, at the same time, have happy, successful families and relationships. Ms. Nichols talks about how living with high stress is like having a wild tiger in your backyard. You don't want to manage it - you want to get rid of it!

Target Audience and Results

This message goes beyond typical corporate entertainment and is for everyone, regardless of their age or stage in life. Human resource management professionals love her because her talks help attendees better understand their co-workers, employees, managers, and customers who also have their own challenges. As a result, attendees will understand each other better, work together more smoothly, and ultimately produce bigger and better results. It may even help reduce workplace violence.
